Swiss champion Marlen Reusser won the 21km time trial at Tour de France femmes, taking the yellow jersey with a commanding performance.

Marlen Reusser, the reigning time trial world champion, claimed victory in the fourth stage of Tour de France femmes, a 21km individual time trial in Burgundy. The Swiss rider's performance saw her overtake Norwegian Sigrid Ytterhus Haugset to take the overall lead.

French rider Pauline Ferrand-Prévot lost over two minutes to Reusser, while Demi Volering, a favorite for the overall victory, finished 22 seconds behind the new yellow jersey holder. Reusser, who won the Tour de Suisse for the third time in June, now leads the women's Tour de France. betsport24.es
