Tour de France Femmes: Stage 2 Enters Mountain Phase

Stage two of the Tour de France Femmes 2026 has entered the mountain phase as riders tackle the first of five climbs on the 148km route from Aigle to Geneva.

Riders are currently 115km into the stage, ascending the Côte de Chexbres, a 3.2km climb at a 5.6% gradient. The mountainous section will continue for approximately 70km as the race progresses toward Geneva. trojkonferencja2024.pl

Following Stage 1 where Marianne Vos claimed the yellow jersey, the race remains highly competitive. Multiple attacks have been attempted by riders including Alison Jackson and Idoia Eraso, who is currently wearing the green jersey. The peloton remains tightly packed as they approach the city of Vevey, with no decisive breaks established so far.
