Jørn Andersen Named Myanmar Coach

Norwegian coach Jørn Andersen (63) officially appointed as head coach of Myanmar's men's national football team.

Andersen expressed enthusiasm about his new position, saying "I am thrilled to be in Myanmar." This follows earlier reports by VG that the experienced coach was close to securing a new national team position in Asia.

The 63-year-old from Fredrikstad has an extensive coaching record in Asia, having led North Korea's national team from 2016 to 2018 and Hong Kong's team from 2021 to 2024. This marks his first position since departing Chinese club Yunnan Yukun in 2025. cricket-ipl.in
