Antonelli Overtakes Hamilton for Silverstone Sprint Win

Kimi Antonelli secured his first Formula 1 sprint race win by overtaking Lewis Hamilton on lap eight at Silverstone on Saturday.

The 19-year-old Mercedes driver challenged Hamilton (Ferrari) throughout the sprint race, despite the 41-year-old veteran winning Friday's qualifying and leading from the start. Antonelli's championship rival George Russell (Mercedes) finished second in the standings.

Hamilton has shown improved form in his Ferrari this season, currently sitting third in the championship. Qualification for Sunday's main race is scheduled for 17:00. h-doctor.club
