Following his impressive time trial victory, Seixas once again demonstrated his dominance by attacking six kilometers from the summit of the main difficulty, the San Miguel de Aralar col. The Décathlon CMA CGM rider's move left the competition behind as he secured his second consecutive stage win.

The 26-year-old now holds a commanding two-minute lead over his closest rivals in the general classification, with Danish cyclist Matias Skjelmose leading the chase in second place.
