UConn coach Dan Hurley is leading his team to the Final Four for the third time in four seasons, sparking renewed interest in his coaching lineage and the legacy of his father.

Dan Hurley's father, Bobby Hurley Sr., is a Hall of Fame high school coach who won over 1,000 games and 28 state titles at St. Anthony's in Jersey City.

The two coached against each other during Dan's early career. Bobby Sr. retired in 2017 when St. Anthony's closed.
