Canada Wins Third Straight at Curling Worlds

Canada's Matt Dunstone won his third straight game at the world men's curling championship with an 8-4 victory over China, moving the team to 5-2 and tying them for third place.

Canada's Winnipeg-based rink, skipped by Dunstone, broke open a close game with four points in the ninth end before the teams shook hands. Scotland's Ross Whyte kept pace with Canada by defeating South Korea 7-2 in the morning session. Sweden's Niklas Edin maintained his lead at 7-0, while Switzerland's Marco Hoesli remained second at 6-1. Canada was scheduled to face Sweden in the day's final draw. This marks Dunstone's first appearance as Canada's skip at the world championship after winning this year's Montana's Brier.
