Jannik Sinner became the first man since Roger Federer to complete the Sunshine Double by winning the Miami Open final against Czech 21st seed Jiri Lehecka 6-4 6-4. The match was interrupted by rain but Sinner maintained his dominance throughout.
The Italian is just the eighth male player to win both Indian Wells and Miami tournaments. Sinner has now won 34 consecutive sets at Masters level and is only the third man, after Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, to win three consecutive Masters events. Notably, he is the first to achieve this feat without dropping a set in any of the three tournaments.
