Igor Tudor departs Tottenham after six weeks

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the immediate exit of coach Igor Tudor, who was appointed after Thomas Frank's dismissal and oversaw seven matches, including a 3-2 win over Atlético Madrid.

Igor Tudor left Tottenham Hotspur by mutual agreement on Sunday, ending his brief spell that began after Thomas Frank was sacked on 11 February. The Croatian coach oversaw seven games, recording five defeats, one draw and a 3-2 victory against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League last‑round of the round of 16.

Despite the win, the 5-2 loss in the first leg at the Metropolitano meant Tottenham failed to progress, and Tudor's short tenure ended with the club looking to find a new direction.
