McCarthy: Trade to Giants Was Shock, Opportunity

J.J. McCarthy expressed surprise at being traded from the Vikings to the Giants, calling the move unexpected. However, the 2024 first-round pick views the transaction as a chance to make a fresh start in the NFL.

"When I got the call here, it was a shock. I didn't anticipate it, but at the end of the day, it's an opportunity," McCarthy said. The Giants acquired McCarthy as they work out a plan to move forward without Jaxson Dart for the rest of the season, giving McCarthy a potential opportunity to play quarterback in the near future. livefromquarantine.club
