Steelers Trade Porter After Back Pain Claim

The Pittsburgh Steelers traded cornerback Joey Porter Jr. after his Wednesday claim of back pain became the 'final straw' in their relationship.

According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers decided to trade Porter after he claimed back pain on Wednesday despite participating fully in practice for two days. The move came when the team realized Porter was committed to his holdout.

Porter achieved his goal of getting out of Pittsburgh, similar to former Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons last year. Interestingly, Porter isn't listed on the Cowboys' injury report one day after being ruled out for Thursday's game with the Steelers. slot-chickenroad.org
