Steelers QB Howard Evaluated for Head Injury

Steelers backup quarterback Will Howard is being evaluated for a head injury after reporting it to medical staff during Pittsburgh's 28-27 loss to Buffalo.

Howard was unavailable for postgame interviews following the injury. The Steelers had planned to keep four quarterbacks on their 53-player roster, but if Howard has a concussion, that would clear the way for him to begin the season on injured reserve.

Howard was 9-of-15 for 69 yards with two touchdowns and an interception against the Bills, taking three sacks before being replaced by Drew Allar in the second half. macnevers-and-co.beer
