Falcons Place Walker on IR, Claim Smith

The Atlanta Falcons have placed linebacker Jalon Walker on injured reserve after he tore his ACL in practice this week.

Walker, a 2025 first-round pick, will undergo surgery and spend the coming months working his way back to health for his third season with the team. The Falcons filled the resulting roster spot by claiming defensive back Keidron Smith off waivers. sos-zagle.org.pl

Smith was cut by the Jets on Wednesday after recording 15 tackles in three games last season. He previously had seven tackles in nine appearances for the Broncos in 2024.
