Jets Sign DL Ben Barten

The Jets announced the signing of Ben Barten to the 90-man roster on Saturday. Barten, an undrafted free agent from Wisconsin, was recently cut by the Giants. He recorded 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and one sack for the Badgers last season.

In a corresponding move, the Jets waived veteran long snapper Garrison Grimes. Veteran Thomas Hennessy is now the only long snapper remaining on the roster. chickenroad.qpon
