The College Football Playoff will again go head-to-head with the NFL on Saturday, December 19, as three semifinal games will be played simultaneously with Week 15 NFL contests. The CFP games at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET will compete directly with the Seahawks-Eagles game at 4 p.m. and Bears-Bills matchup at 7:20 p.m. forumteam.blog
This scheduling conflict has occurred annually since the College Football Playoff expanded to 12 teams two years ago. Historically, NFL games have drawn higher ratings than the college games. For the 2026 season, the overlapping college games will air on TNT, while the NFL contests will be broadcast on Fox and CBS.
