McCrary-Ball, 27, was limited by a hamstring injury in 2025, which occurred during Week 3 against the Buccaneers. The Jets activated him from injured reserve late in the season, allowing him to play in two more games. In those appearances, he contributed 23 tackles and one forced fumble across 106 defensive snaps and 120 special teams plays.
Originally signed by the 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2022, McCrary-Ball found a home with the Jets in 2023. Over three seasons, he has accumulated 109 defensive snaps and 363 special teams snaps, becoming a reliable special teams contributor for the team.
