Perez: Verstappen Made Me Faster

Sergio Perez has revealed that observing Max Verstappen's leadership during their time as Red Bull teammates made him a faster Formula 1 driver.

The Mexican driver, who was Verstappen's teammate from 2021 to 2024, made the disclosure during an appearance on the High Performance podcast. Despite the challenges of partnering with the four-time world champion, Perez credits Verstappen's "pure" leadership style with improving his performance on track.
