اكتملت ملامح النسخة المرتقبة من دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة لكرة القدم 2026/2027،عقب سحب قرعة مرحلة الدوري أمس في العاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور،حيث أسفرت قرعة مرحلة الدوري لمنطقة غرب القارة في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، عن مواجهات قوية لأنديتنا الثلاثة المشاركة وهي: السد والغرافة والشمال.
وتوزعت مواجهات مرحلة المجموعة الموحدة، التي تضم 32 فريقا للمرة الأولى منذ إعادة إطلاق المسابقة باسمها الحالي في موسم 2024-2025، وفق نظام القرعة، بحيث يخوض كل فريق أربع مباريات على أرضه وأربع خارجها.
وجاء السد ضمن المسار الثالث حيث سيواجه على أرضه كلا من الأهلي والهلال والاتحاد السعوديين والقوة الجوية العراقي، بينما سيلعب خارجها أمام الاستقلال الإيراني والنصر السعودي وتراكتور الإيراني والقادسية السعودي.من جهته، وضعت القرعة الغرافة ضمن المسار الأول، حيث سيلتقي على أرضه مع الاستقلال الإيراني والنصر السعودي وتراكتور الإيراني والقادسية السعودي، فيما سيخوض خارج ملعبه مواجهات أمام الأهلي والهلال والاتحاد السعوديين، والقوة الجوية العراقي.
وفي المسار الثالث سيستضيف الشمال الأهلي والهلال والاتحاد السعوديين والقوة الجوية العراقي، فيما سيحل ضيفا على الاستقلال الإيراني والنصر السعودي وتراكتور الإيراني والقادسية السعودي.
وستنطلق منافسات البطولة يوم 14 سبتمبر المقبل، على أن تختتم مرحلة الدوري في فبراير 2027، وعلى إثرها ستتأهل الفرق الثمانية الأولى في كل مجموعة (الشرق - الغرب) إلى دور الـ16 الذي سيقام خلال الفترة من 1 إلى 17 مارس المقبل قبل إقامة النهائيات بنظام التجمع في السعودية، goldparty.lat

Doha, Qatar: Qatar secured their first win in the FIBA U18 Asia Cup yesterday as they beat Sri Lanka 90-43 in their final Group C match in Ahmedabad, India.

The win capped Qatar’s group stage campaign with a much-needed triumph that saw them advance into the knock-out stage.

Qatar opened with sharp offensive focus, then raised the tempo in the third and fourth quarters.

The opening quarter ended 20–17 in Qatar’s favour, followed by a stronger second quarter that closed 18–9, giving the team a 12‑point half time lead. The third quarter proved decisive, as Qatar tightened defensive pressure and excelled offensively, outscoring Sri Lanka 29–10.

The final quarter sealed the victory with a 23–7 run, bringing the total to 90 points against Sri Lanka’s 43 — a commanding 47‑point margin.

Team captain Abdullah Yassin Mousa stood out, leading all scorers with 37 points and spearheading Qatar’s attack in a match that demanded resilience after earlier defeats to Iran and China.

Sri Lanka’s Sudam Liyanage was his side’s top scorer with 10 points.

The result lifted Qatar to third place in Group C with 4 points (one win, two losses), behind China (6 points) and Iran (5 points). Sri Lanka finished fourth with 3 points from three defeats.

China advanced directly into the quarter-finals, while Qatar will contest a playoff against the second‑placed team from Group D for a spot in the last eight.

Iran, meanwhile, will face the third‑placed team from Group D in another playoff.

Qatar’s improved showing against Sri Lanka reflected adjustments made by head coach Mounir Ben Zeghala and his staff, who worked to address defensive lapses, reduce turnovers, and refine offensive execution after the opening two losses. The victory provided a crucial morale boost ahead of the playoff stage, which will test Qatar’s ability to handle knockout competition.

Group winners qualify directly for the quarter-finals, while second and third‑placed teams contest playoffs to complete the lineup.

Playoff matches are scheduled for August 20, followed by quarter-finals on August 21, semifinals on August 22, and the final on August 23.

Reaching the semi-finals carries added significance, as four teams that advance will earn qualification to the 2027 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup to be held Czech Republic (June 26 – July 4, 2027).

Berlin: Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala said he is suffering from a neurological disorder after a second on-field collapse in three days yesterday.

The 23-year-old Germany international fell to the turf just minutes after coming on late in a pre-season friendly at Heidenheim. A similar incident took place on Saturday in Bayern’s home win over RB Leipzig.

Yesterday in Heidenheim, Musiala appeared dazed as he received medical treatment and was helped off the pitch.

Musiala later revealed on social media that he had a disorder which could lead to “temporary but treatable seizures”.

“I have been diagnosed with brief, temporary episodes of absence that are easily treatable and are caused by a neurological dysfunction,” Musiala said.

“These can lead to the moments that have occurred recently, such as against Leipzig and now in Heidenheim.

“I know that they may seem scary at first glance - but for me, they are currently simply part of my everyday life.”

Musiala added that he was “incredibly grateful for all your messages and your support”.

“I am receiving the best possible medical care in this regard, and I am very optimistic.”

After the match, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl said Musiala would comment on the situation soon.

“Jamal will speak about this in the near future. We knew about it and we are aware of the situation,” Eberl said.

“Jamal will speak out.”

On Saturday, Musiala collapsed on the pitch against Leipzig and required medical attention in hot conditions in the Bavarian capital, with temperatures well over 30C.

Musiala missed the first six months of last season due to a broken ankle sustained at the Club World Cup, but he returned in the second half of the campaign and played for Germany at the 2026 World Cup.
